The original version 8.5inch spot beam round driving light costs $480 per set, but the new version only costs $320 per set. So what is different between the original and the new version? The original 8.5" driving light can create a 1lux@2000meter and the spot beam is more focused. However, the new 8.5" version can reach the same amazing 1lux@1400 meters, but it is more suitable for off-road driving. The beam from the new spot projector module is wider than the original, and more in line with the driving standard. Let's see how it plays.
Each super-power features a combination of a revolutionary high-tech central spot beam module and is fitted with 28 powerful OSRAM LEDs for an incredible lab-tested 1 Lux@1400m and 14080 lumens per light. They are especially useful at higher cruising speeds and vast grasslands areas where they help to identify hazards and signs.
Make no mistake – these lights are built TOUGH! They have an ultra-high quality cast alloy housing with in-built passive cooling fins for component longevity, and a premium convex polycarbonate lens that’s resistant to scratching, scuffing, and fading. You'll get a pair of 3mm re-inforced folded-steel U brackets with four alignment bolts per light. Adjustable in the range of 60°, once you’ve fitted and adjusted your driving lights, they stay adjusted and work the best for you.
Fitted with An IP68 water and dustproof rating and a Deutsch-style connector, that means these lights will run underwater at a depth of one meter for an hour, and you can see why we say they’re built TOUGH!
They can run on 12v and 24v, so you can bolt them to your car, van, ute, 4WD, truck, tractor, or just about any type of machine.
