Whip light is a fantastic addition to any off-road vehicle, offering enhanced visibility and a unique visual appeal. However, like any piece of equipment, whip lights can encounter issues that might affect their performance. Whether you're a seasoned off-road enthusiast or a newcomer to the world of whip lights, encountering problems can be frustrating.
In this blog, we'll provide quick and effective solutions to the most common problems of those who have purchased COLIGHT whip lights.
Q1: The whip light seems to have a loose connection.
Please remove the whip light and check if the base is loose. If it is, gently tighten it a bit. Then reconnect the whip light and see if the issue persists.
Q2: One of the whip lights is not working.
If one of the whip lights has an issue, please swap the base of the problematic whip light with the base of a working whip light. If it works properly, the base is likely faulty. Please contact us and provide the water code on the base. We will send you a replacement base for you. (Please provide a video, your video is our important evidence.)
Q3: Both whip lights are not working.
If neither whip light is working, you might have accidentally modified the parameters in the app. Go to the settings and find the color settings, set the pixel points to 93, and then click save. This should restore normal function. (When setting the pixel points, you need to select the device signal first.)
Q4: The whip light is still not working after changing the base.
Please use the remote control to turn it on first. Since the whip light was connected while powered on, the control box may not have sent a signal to the whip light. Using the remote control will prompt the control box to send a signal to the whip light, which should then turn on.
The above questions are only for RGB fat whip lights, we will continue to update, stay tuned.
